InSight Mars Lander: Parachute Image?

The entry of the InSight Mars lander could also be caught by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).

“The parachute picture can be a distant view and doubtless smeared, so not a very good wanting picture however nonetheless helpful for engineering analysis,” explains Alfred McEwen, the Principal Investigator of the Excessive Decision Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) for the MRO.

McEwen mentioned that after InSight is on the Crimson Planet, a primary post-landing picture try is three days afterward, and almost definitely HiRISE will miss it on that first try, he advised Inside Outer House.
